Mrs. Turner
A graduate of Choctaw County High School in Butler, Alabama, I attended Jackson State University (Jackson, Mississippi) as a Math/Pre-engineering student before deciding to follow my heart and become an educator. I graduated from State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and also earned a Master's degree in Reading, Language, and Literacy from Georgia State University. During my 24 year teaching career, I have taught sixth grade in Orange County, North Carolina, Reading Recovery in Durham, North Carolina, and fifth grade at Dolvin Elementary here in Fulton County. I am thrilled to be in my tenth year at Sweet Apple.
